symphoniaASSAI is happy to announce a collaboration with the Brussels Choir Society, with a beautiful program for choir and string orchestra together with soloist Catherine Leclerc under the baton of Eric Delson.
Northern Lights presents an introduction to the individual sound worlds of Kim André Arnesen, Ēriks Ešenvalds and Ola Gjeilo - contemporary composers of choral music of outstanding melodic and harmonious richness. Originally from the north of Europe, their music is becoming internationally known and has already received enthusiastic critical acclaim from audiences and performers alike.
The music of Grieg, probably Northern Europe’s most famous romantic composer, is also present in the programme, including his attractive Holberg Suite for string orchestra.
