As a soloist we welcomed again\u00a0<span class=\"especialO1\">Anneleen Lenaerts (Vienna Philharmonic)<\/span>\u00a0performing the harp concerto of the Belgian Joseph Jongen.<br \/>\nThe event was the result of the collaboration between symphoniaASSAI and Morning Tears, a non-profit organization dedicated to the defense of children&#8217;s rights around the world, with actual projects in China, Cambodia, Ecuador, Tanzania and Russia\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.morningtears.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(www.morningtears.be)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The program includes impressionist masterpieces by French composers Gabriel Faur\u00e9, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and their Belgian contemporary Joseph Jongen, whose harp concerto was performed by harpist Anneleen Lenaerts as soloist together with symphoniaASSAI, conducted by her brother Wouter Lenaerts.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"especialO1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"especialO1\">Claude Debussy<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Pr\u00e9lude \u00e0 l&#8217;apr\u00e8s-midi d&#8217;un faune<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"especialO1\">Joseph Jongen<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Concerto pour harpe et orchestre &#8211; Anneleen Lenaerts, harp<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"especialO1\">Gabriel Faur\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Pell\u00e9as et M\u00e9lisande<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"especialO1\">Maurice Ravel<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Ma M\u00e8re l&#8217;Oye<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On\u00a0May 12th 2013\u00a0a special concert took place in the Cultural Centre of Hasselt.
