New season, new program!

The ASSAI cello quartet is ready for a new journey, from west to east and across the Baltic Sea, through the music of three composers who accomplished to “paint” the world that surrounded them. First concert on the 1st of October in Neerpelt!

In Voyages saxophonist Koen Dries and symphoniaASSAI follow the tracks of Adolphe Sax, honouring the saxophone's inventor and the French world of sound that the instrument embraced during its first years of existence.

This production is part of the Doctorate in Arts that saxophonist Koen Dries is pursuing as Candidate for the Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen, in collaboration with Kunstenplatform Brussel, School of Arts Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
