In this program we meet the young composer Philippe Lamouris who got inspired by the Russian master Alexander Glazunov for the creation of his own piano concerto.
This concert is the final artistic result of Philippe Lamouris' doctoral research on composing, performing, emotions, expression and soul. It is a quest to unravel the mystery of music. A quest that, from the outset, forces us to realise that the secret will not be unlocked, but that the journey towards it is no less exciting for that.

What connection, if any, exists between music and visual imagery? Can a musical composition meaningfully be compared to a painting or directly linked to an image?
